A Recipe For Survival Art Contest

Hello Artists!

We are very excited to share this contest with you. As part of our game, we have a calendar system that keeps track of the player’s progress throughout their runs. It looks like this:

We would love to use this space in our game to feature artwork of different artists, like a little gallery space! The idea is to have artworks rotating, meaning that each run will have different images for each month of the calendar. The months are currently randomized in our game, meaning that they are separate from a real life calendar (meaning that you can get a run in April in the game when it is October in the real world).

Each artist can pick one or multiple of the 12 months of the year to design. We will then pick our favourites and implement them into the game.

Rules:

  • Your image must have a 7:5 ratio, landscape format (for example 1400 pixels in width, 1000 in height), either a JPEG or a PNG file, and not larger than 10 MB in file size.
  • Both traditional and digital art is allowed
  • No AI art is allowed.
  • Your image must include the correct feel for the in-game calendar month selected (for example no Christmas decorations for an April entry).
  • Your image must feature at least one cat (see the images below for reference).
  • No nudity, excessive blood & violence, political statements or reference of drugs is allowed.
  • Each artist can only submit 1 piece per in-game calendar month, however there is no limit on how many in-game calendar months you can submit (for example you can submit a piece for “January” and “February” but can’t post two “January” pieces).
  • Please enter the information you wish to be displayed alongside your artwork in game (this can either be your real name, or any social media handle you want to display, for example “@penguin on Instagram”).
  • Please write the in-game month of your entry in the form, alongside your submission. If you want to submit multiple artworks, please fill out a new form for each of them.
  • The deadline is on the 1st of February 2026 at midnight CET (Central European Time) and we only accept submissions through our submission form below (Note: later submissions may be considered, but are not guaranteed for selection)

By submitting the form below, you agree for your artwork and your username or full name to be used in the game. If we want to feature your artwork in our promotional work or social media accounts, we will reach out to you ahead of time.
